PaulAnn Around the Globe

Bible tells us in John 3:16 that God sent Jesus into the world so that anyone who believes in Him would be restored with God forever. A few chapters later, in John 17:18, Jesus says that in the same way He was sent by God the Father, Jesus sends us, His church, into the world that others might come to know Him.

A robust and active Missions ministry is at the core of PaulAnn Church. The essence of Missions at PaulAnn Church is to do our part in making Jesus known among every nation, tribe, people and language.

We do this by sending various short-term mission trips through- out the year, by sending summer-long mission interns, by sending long-term career missionaries, and through key missions partnerships such as the International Mission Board, Pray America, and Loads of Love. We want to empower, support and send as many people as God allows us.

Facts About Global Missions

  • People Group

A people group is the largest group within which the Gospel can spread as a church planting movement without encountering barriers of understanding or acceptance. Barriers such as caste, religious tradition, location, culture, and language may be used to define the boundaries of each people group.

  • Unreached

A people group is considered unreached when there is no indigenous community of believing Christians and no resources to evangelize the people group.

  • 10/40 Window

The 10/40 Window is the rectangular area of North Africa, the Middle East and Asia between 10 degrees north and 40 degrees north latitude and includes an estimated 4.54 billion people. The 10/40 Window is home to the largest unreached people groups in the world as well as the poorest of the poor.

  • Church Planting Movement

Church Planting Movement (CPM) is a rapid and exponential increase of indigenous churches planting churches within a given people group or population segment.

  • Foreign Missionaries

“Only 2.5% of the world’s foreign missionary force is allocated to the unreached, while 80% of the world’s foreign missionaries go to peoples that are already predominantly Christian.” – Jason Mandryk of Operation World
