• Next Steps

  • Community

Community is a group of people leading a common life according to a standard.

We were not created to live in isolation. We need community because God designed us that way. We want to help you find a group of people who will encourage, challenge, care, love, teach, and help you grow. Community Life Groups (CLGs) are the way we help you connect with others like you. CLGs meet weekly in locations throughout the city on different days and times.

  • Baptism

When we trust Jesus to save us, we are justified. Baptism is a symbol of that justification.

When you step into the water, you are letting the world know that you have walked into a new life of faith in Jesus Christ and that you are committing to follow Him down a new path. If you’ve made the decision to follow Jesus, baptism is the next step in your spiritual journey.

  • Membership

At PaulAnn, we desire your membership statement to be far more than expression of where you attend church. It is intended to be a mutual commitment of belonging, investment and care. We desire your membership to reflect a heart shift from “I attend here” to “this is my family.”

    How to Join:

    • By salvation or baptism: Accepting the salvation offered through Jesus Christ and following in baptism.
    • Statement of faith: Stating that you were saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and have been biblically baptized by immersion after you were saved.
    • Transfer of letter: Moving your membership from another Baptist church.

  • Serve

God has gifted each of us with a particular set of skills to serve the local church. Using your gifts by serving in the church is an act of worship. Jesus Himself said that He did not come to be served, but to serve others.

There are many opportunities to serve at PaulAnn and we can always use new volunteers.

To view volunteer opportunities, visit the Volunteer Page. This is a great tool to help you take your next step!

  • Giving

What we do with our money tells others who were are and what we do. When we tithe, we acknowledge the fact that God is in control of our lives.

    Three Types of Scriptural Giving:

    • Tithing: Bringing 10% of our income to the local church.
    • Generous Giving: Giving above and beyond the 10% is considered generous and more than expected.
    • Sacrificial Giving: Giving above and beyond the 10% by sacrificing ourselves to use our resources to further the mission of the movement of God.

  • Missions

The Bible tells us in John 3:16 that God sent Jesus into the world so that anyone who believes in Him would be restored with God forever. A few chapters later, in John 17:18, Jesus says that in the same way He was sent by God the Father, Jesus sends us, His church, into the world that others might come to know Him.

A robust and active Missions ministry is at the core of PaulAnn Church. The essence of Missions at PaulAnn Church is to do our part in making Jesus known among every nation, tribe, people and language.

We do this by sending various short-term mission trips through- out the year, by sending summer-long mission interns, by sending long-term career missionaries, and through key missions partnerships such as the International Mission Board, Pray America, and Loads of Love. We want to empower, support and send as many people as God allows us.

  • Bible Study

But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of Godmay be thoroughly equipped for every good work. – 1 Timothy 3:14-17

This Scripture calls us to heed God’s Word. God expects us to scrutinize, understand, and then apply the Bible to our lives. This is the basic inductive precept. This passage is not an instruction to the Bible the occasional “once over.” It is the clear, uncompromising call to continue in our studies constantly and passionately.

PaulAnn offers a variety of Bible Studies for men and women throughout the year.
